I need to split an flv file into 3 segments, but can't (or don't know how to) do it using Windows Movie Maker. Do you know any application that can do that ? Open source, preferably!
1, At first, convert FLV files to AVI, WMV, MPEG, MP3, WMA supported by Windows Movie Maker. You can go to http://www.video-to-flash.com/flv_video_converter/ to download this program: Aunsoft FLV Converter. It can convert FLV to AVI, WMV, MOV, MPEG, 3GP, AAC, MP4 in a high quality. However, I have to say, it's not a freeware. You can have a free trial at first.
2, After converting, edit them with Windows Movie Maker.
